Artist Biography

Pierre Palué began his artistic training under his father at a young age. During World War II, he served in the artillery at Vieux Brisach before being taken prisoner, later escaping with Dr. Henri Lemonon. In 1940, he followed Dr. Lemonon to Saint-Donat, where he received support to study and assist in pharmacy. He then pursued drawing at Valence Art School, where he met André Lhote.

After the war, Palué exhibited at the Salon des Surindépendants and the Sanzieme exhibition. From 1950 to 1960, he taught drawing and painting at Valence and Tournon Lycée before founding the Municipal Art School in Romans. Throughout his life, he achieved great success as an artist, traveling across Europe to paint.
